VOR in Salt Lake City, April 21 (UT)

Many thanks to Eric Nkurunziza for his commitment to survivors and for bringing together so many community members for a commemoration this year in Salt Lake City. We are pleased to welcome Mathilde Mukantabana, Rwanda’s new envoy to the United States. Mukantabana is also the President of Friends of Rwanda Association (FORA), a non-profit American relief association for orphaned children in Rwanda. 19th Commemoration, April 7 (DC)

It was an honor for VOR to be included in the 19th National Commemoration hosted by the Rwandan Embassy. VOR’s director Taylor Krauss shared his thoughts on the power of testimonies in Rwanda today. Other speakers included Ambassador Eng. James Kimonyo along with testimonies from Tabitha Mugenzi and Kalima Kizito.
